Partner and head of team
I have over 20 years’ experience advising companies, individuals, charities and public bodies on resolving (and avoiding) disputes relating to land and property. I joined GA’s property litigation team in May 2016.
I deal with a full spectrum of contentious property issues to include disputes regarding easements, covenants, the construction of property contracts, overage, wayleaves and other similar consents, nuisance, adverse possession, boundaries, misrepresentation claims and property related professional negligence. In addition, I have significant experience in respect of landlord and tenant matters such as disputed break notices, forfeiture, business lease renewals, enforcement of lease covenants, dilapidations and the impact of insolvency procedures.
I graduated from Leicester University in 1997 and I completed the legal practice course at Exeter University. I trained in the midlands before qualifying in 2000. I returned to the south west to work for two firms in Somerset before spending three years in Cardiff with a large national firm and a further six years with a regional law firm in Exeter.
I am a member of the Property Litigation Association.
- Excellent service. Plain talking, to the point, and no messing about.
