I obtained a law degree at Hull University in 1972 and qualified as a solicitor in 1975. I became a partner in a London based firm in the early 1980s and carried out an enormous amount of business transfer work.
I moved to Plymouth in 1984 and for many years was a partner in the commercial department of another large Plymouth firm. I joined GA in 2002 and major in business transfers, commercial leases, commercial/residential estate set-up and drinks/entertainment licensing.
It has been a privilege to handle numerous complex commercial property transactions for many “movers and shakers” in the South West. Helping clients navigate increasingly challenging legal minefields remains immensely satisfying.
I am a past chairman of Plymouth 41 Club and a director of two management companies controlling much of the flagship heritage residential/commercial estate called The Millfields in Plymouth.
