Solicitor
I qualified as a solicitor in March 2023 into the Commercial Property team following the completion of the training contract with GA Solicitors.
I studied law at Plymouth University and graduated in 2017 with upper-class honours. I went on to study the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with a Masters of Laws (LLM) at the University of Law in Bristol and graduated with distinction in 2020.
I obtained experience in commercial and residential property at other local law firms before commencing a training contract with GA in September 2021. During my training contract, I kept my seats property-focused and gained experience in both Commercial Property and Property Litigation.
Since qualifying as a solicitor, I predominantly work in the Property Finance team where I act for lenders raising finance for residential and commercial purchases, development projects and refinances. In summary, I carry out title investigation, review searches, raise enquiries, advise our clients and perfect security. I am also experienced in sales and purchases and will be gaining further experience in commercial leases and development work.
I am proud to have been selected as one of Devon & Plymouth Chamber’s 30 Under 30 winners for 2023. The 30 Under 30 campaign aims to recognise and celebrate the achievements of those under 30 across Devon.
