Laura Keith
Solicitor
I qualified for the Dispute Resolution team in September 2025 following the completion of my training contract with GA.
During my training contract, I spent a year in the Dispute Resolution Team assisting the team on a wide range of contentious commercial litigation matters, including:
- Disputes concerning breach of contract.
- Company restoration via an application to the court.
- Shareholder, director and partnership disputes.
- Commercial disputes surrounding defamation and harassment.
- Professional negligence.
I also completed a seat in the employment team, where I assisted the team in advising both employer and employee clients, ranging from employer governance to Employment Tribunal assistance.
Prior to undertaking my training contract, I worked in the commercial property team, working as a Legal Assistant and assisting the property finance team with post-completion matters as well as the department as a whole with administrative matters.
I studied law at the University of Plymouth and graduated in 2021 with a first-class honours degree. Following this, I went on to study my Legal Practice Course with the University of Law and graduated in 2023 with a commendation.
I have also been named as one of Devon Chambers’ 30 under 30 winners for 2025 and awarded the Future Generation Supporter (2024) and Legal Mentor Award (2025) by the Plymouth Junior Lawyers Division. This has been mainly due to my personal involvement with the Plymouth Junior Lawyers Division since 2024, where I sat as the Chair, Education Officer and now National Representative.
I am also a keen runner and completed my first marathon in April 2025.
- Laura was easy to work with and soon exhibited a comprehensive grasp of my needs.
