As a legal assistant, you will be expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative.
The role
You will provide direct support to lawyers to enable them to operate at optimum efficiency, and this will include, but will not be limited to, the main responsibilities given below. As a legal assistant, you will be expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative.
- Handling new enquiries and creating new files, including setting up client details on the case management system.
- Prepare standard and non-standard correspondence and documents through audio-typing and word processing.
- Generate suitable client care correspondence.
The candidate
As a Legal Assistant, you will need to have good time management skills and a positive approach to the team, as well as be self-motivated and highly organised. You will also be able to be initiative-taking, and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
