A Flurry of New Starters for Plymouth Law Firm
Plymouth law firm, GA Solicitors, has taken on four new team members as it further develops its offering, builds experience in niche sectors and increasingly improves its processes and client care.
Ben Williams has been employed as GA’s IT assistant and will support its 75+ staff and work with the IT team to continue to develop and improve the firm’s advanced IT systems. Janire Quintairos has joined the firm’s marketing department and will assist in providing communications to both internal and external stakeholders.
Hilda Molnar is a customer service apprentice and has joined the busy reception team greeting clients and dealing with enquiries.
Julian Summerhayes has also joined the firm as a solicitor in its dispute resolution department. Since qualifying as a solicitor nearly twenty years ago, Julian has amassed a significant amount of experience in acting for FTSE 100 companies, SMEs, partnerships and private clients; he is also a qualified mediator. Julian will work closely with GA’s commercial team where he will focus on commercial disputes with a particular focus on intellectual property.
Talking of the recruitment, managing partner Stephen Ramsden commented: “GA Solicitors continues to expand its team and put a high emphasis on client service. This means we need the right people working behind the scenes as well as directly with our clients. Janire, Ben and Hilda will ensure that from the moment a client walks through the door to matter closing that the process is as friendly and as efficient as possible. Julian is a welcome addition to our dispute resolution team. With a strong background in commercial litigation his expertise opens the firm up to new areas, particularly with his keen interest in intellectual property.”
With more than 200 years of heritage, GA Solicitors is a leading Plymouth law firm with 75 members of staff offering guidance across seven specialist departments: business; family; employment; dispute resolution; wills, trusts & probate; conveyancing and personal injury.

Note to Editors
GA Solicitors can trace its roots back more than 200 years and has been steadfastly helping the people and business in Plymouth and the South West for its duration. Originally based in Devonport, the firm gets its initials from Thomas Husband Gill who joined the practice in 1875 and later went into partnership with Albert E. Akaster.
Now one of the region’s leading law firms, the 70-strong team at the Lexcel-accredited LLP, conveniently accessible at their Plymouth city centre office, is structured around seven practice areas, each comprising its own specialist department:
