Dozen strong team is the business
Multi-sector law firm GA Solicitors has taken the number of lawyers in its dedicated business team to twelve with two new appointments.
Serena Willis joins the firm as a company commercial advisor, specialising in partnerships, sole traders, shareholders and directors. She provides company commercial advice across a wide spectrum of areas including terms of business, agreements, corporate formations and reconstructions, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, shareholder and joint venture agreements.
For the last two and half years Serena has been working in-house for an international manufacturer and before that had roles at Womble Bond Dickinson and Lyons Davidson.
Jacob graduated in top position from the University of Plymouth in 2017, receiving a first class Law and Business Degree with two academic prizes, including Best Law Graduate. He also enjoyed success with the Law Society’s Mooting competition, where he delivered the winning moot in the UK Supreme Court for the then President Lord Neuberger.
He joins GA Solicitors as a commercial property conveyancer after working at a local firm advising SMEs on a wide range of legal matters.
Commenting on the new appointments, GA Solicitors Managing Partner Stephen Ramsden said: “Both Serena and Jacob bring with them fresh insight on the legal challenges facing both large and small businesses at this time. Their arrival further enhances the continued growth of our specialist business law team.”
