Five Key Promotions at Plymouth Law Firm
In a series of internal promotions, Plymouth law firm GA Solicitors has appointed four new partners and promoted an experienced employment solicitor to associate.
Commercial property solicitors Lucy Hall and Tony Dupreez have been named as partners. Both solicitors have significant experience in the property sector and a strong following in the local marketplace.
James Peterson has been made partner and head of GA’s company commercial department. James has been involved in a significant number of complex and high-value transactions, particularly in regards to company mergers and acquisitions.
Jonathan Bouchta is the fourth new partner and is a hugely experienced property litigation solicitor. Jonathan joined GA from Foot Anstey in 2016 and has won a number of new clients as well as increasing client retention through the provision of a very specialist area of expertise.
Since joining GA in 2014, employment solicitor Rob Zacal has distinguished himself within the local employment law community, advising businesses and conducting complex employment litigation. He has been promoted to an associate, a step towards becoming a partner in future years.
Speaking of the promotions, managing partner Stephen Ramsden, commented: “All five team members are loyal and committed colleagues and they are thoroughly deserving of these promotions. I and the partners are delighted to recognise and reward them for their hard work. This is a very exciting time for them and for GA.”
Newly appointed partner, Lucy Hall, added: “Having joined GA soon after qualifying as a solicitor eleven years ago, I have since established a strong footing in the local property market, with a focus on secured lending. GA has supported me through each step of my career from a newly qualified member of staff, through to associate and now partner.
“I am delighted to be welcomed to the partnership and with the continued development of my role at the firm. I am very excited about my future career and the future of GA Solicitors as an established and innovative Plymouth firm.”
With more than 200 years of heritage, GA Solicitors is a leading Plymouth law firm with 77 members of staff offering guidance across seven specialist departments: business; family; employment; dispute resolution; wills, trusts & probate; conveyancing and personal injury.
