GA appointed as key sponsor of Plymouth 10k 2016
Established Plymouth law firm, GA Solicitors has been named as the exclusive legal sponsor of the eagerly anticipated 2016 Plymouth 10k race.
Organising the race for its second consecutive year, Run Plymouth is delighted to announce GA Solicitors as a significant sponsor of the race which will take place on Sunday 9th October.
The 2015 event was an undoubted success with more than 1,500 competitors taking part. The 2016 race is anticipated to be a large scale event with more than 3,000 runners from across the South West and some 10,000 spectators lining the city streets.
Race Director of Run Plymouth, Nigel Rowe MBE, said: “We are delighted that such an established firm, with its 200 years of heritage, has agreed to sponsor the Plymouth 10k. This is a key event for the city with thousands expected to take part.
“GA Solicitors joins other important sponsors and race partners such as Mansbridge & Balment, Redrok, Plymouth CityBus, China Fleet and Wessex Reserves’ Forces and Cadets’ Association.”
Stephen Ramsden, managing partner of GA Solicitors commented: “GA Solicitors is proud of its Plymouth roots and is pleased to support any event which benefits the city. The Plymouth 10K will attract thousands of runners and spectators to Plymouth and is an event which evokes a strong feeling of comradery and community spirit.
“The race route runs directly past GA’s city centre office so it seems only fitting that we are involved and support such a high profile event.”
