Leading Litigator Joins GA Solicitors’ Partnership
GA Solicitors has recruited James Walsh, a leading industrial disease litigator, as a partner of the firm as it expands its expertise in the personal injury sector.
James has more than two decades of experience and is recognised nationally for his work in industrial disease disputes, specialising in high value asbestos claims. With a variety of accreditations, including being one of only 20 individuals in the country to be named as an occupational disease and asbestos disease specialist by APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers), James makes a strong addition to GA’s already well-established personal injury team.
Stephen Ramsden, managing partner of GA Solicitors, commented: “James is highly regarded in the personal injury sector and within the local business community. His experience is recognised on a national platform and his specialist knowledge of asbestos related claims and mesothelioma builds on the reputation of the firm’s already proficient personal injury department.
“GA continues to grow and invest in its people, employing individuals with core specialisms to offer a well-rounded and comprehensive service to all of our clients.”
James Walsh, newly appointed partner of GA Solicitors, added: “I have always admired GA’s reputation as a forward thinking law firm. It has an innovative approach to the legal sector and I am delighted to be joining the firm, adding my knowledge and experience to the department and developing a specialist offering in industrial disease litigation.”
With more than 200 years of heritage, GA Solicitors is a leading Plymouth law firm with 75 members of staff offering guidance across seven specialist departments: business; family; employment; dispute resolution; wills, trusts & probate; conveyancing and personal injury.
