Milestone Reached: First Client Welcomed
Plymouth law firm, GA Solicitors, has reached a key milestone in its extensive office refurbishment by welcoming the first client to its newly opened reception and client suite.
Michael Cox, director of the West Country’s leading jewellers Michael Spiers, was the first client to cross the threshold and was welcomed to the revamped office with a celebratory bottle of Champagne and a tour of the new facilities.
The refurbishment project, which on completion will have taken 10 months, is now in its final stages with the fourth and ground floors complete and only the first floor’s staff area now outstanding.
The overhaul includes the office entrance which has been modernised to allow for complete disabled access with a ramp and automatic glass doors. The reception area has been updated to maximise space and light and has been fitted with technologically advanced presentation screens and contemporary furniture. All client meeting rooms are now located on the ground floor and provide an attractive and flexible space for meetings and conferences.
Upon seeing the new space, Mr Cox commented: “The transformation is fantastic. The client space is open, light and very modern and the entire reception area is very welcoming. GA has always been a modern law firm in regards to its advice and professionalism; it is really encouraging to now see this reflected in its office environment.”
Stephen Ramsden, managing partner of GA Solicitors, said: “This is a significant milestone in GA’s refurbishment project. It demonstrates a substantial investment by the firm, proving our commitment to the city and our clients. With the project due to complete in April, and with a number of key staff appointments taking place in the same month, this is an incredibly exciting time for the firm. We look forward to inviting our clients, referrers and friends to see our new facilities once the project has completed.”
With more than 200 years of heritage, GA Solicitors is a leading Plymouth law firm with more than 70 members of staff offering guidance across seven specialist departments: business; family; employment; dispute resolution; wills, trusts & probate; conveyancing and personal injury.
