Ongoing Expansion at Plymouth Law Firm
Plymouth based law firm, GA Solicitors, has employed two new solicitors and confirmed ambitious plans for future growth.
Attributing its current success to its modern approach to business and its ability to comprehensively meet the needs of its clients, GA is currently seeing high levels of activity across all of its seven specialist departments; so much so it has employed two new recruits and is actively seeking more.
The firm’s employment department plays a key role in its growth strategy and Robert Zacal, an experienced employment solicitor, is a new addition to the GA team. Robert’s abilities further strengthen the department and allow him to support partner Rhiain Lewis who joined last year from regional law firm Ashfords.
The firm’s residential department has also received a boost with Adrian Gerson joining its ten-strong team. Adrian has been a residential conveyancing solicitor for the last ten years and has a strong client base and an aptitude for all areas of residential property law. With ten members of staff, GA now boasts one of the largest residential teams in the city.
Stephen Ramsden, managing partner of GA Solicitors, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Adrian and Robert to the firm. They bring not only experience but extra skills so we can improve the service we can provide to our clients.
“We have had a very positive start to 2014 with every one of our seven specialist departments achieving their highest levels of activity for some years. We believe this is set to continue as we invest further in growing our business. The market has changed and so have we. The legal sector is very competitive; demonstrated unfortunately by the recent spate of closures and mergers across the city. We believe Gill Akaster is well placed to make the most of opportunities and is capable of adapting to the changing needs of our client base.
“We now look forward to an even stronger future and to recruiting further first class lawyers”.
GA currently employs 65 members of staff from its city centre office and includes seven specialist departments: commercial; residential conveyancing; employment; dispute resolution; personal injury; family and wills, trusts and probate.
