Plymouth law firm opens new office in Bath with new service for the energy sector
GA Solicitors has opened a new office in Bath and appointed Helen Rumford as partner and head of GA Energy.
GA Energy is a new service offered by GA Solicitors to support companies in the renewable energy sector. Helen Rumford, head of the team based in Bath, is an experienced energy lawyer actively involved in renewable energy and passionate about the sector. Prior to joining GA she worked in the energy teams at several leading law firms in the region.
Helen will continue to advise clients locally and nationally on energy projects throughout the UK. She advises developers, funds, asset managers, investors, landowners and community groups on new projects, maximising the value of existing projects, financing projects, acquisitions and disposals across a range of technologies including solar, wind, anaerobic digestion, energy from waste and energy storage.
Helen is a member of Entrepreneurial Women in Renewable Energy, co-founder of the Bristol based Business and Energy Sector Strategy and Insights Group and a board member of Low Carbon Gordano, a Community Benefit Society helping to create a low carbon future through renewable energy generation, carbon capture and energy storage.
