Paralegal

I joined GA in August 2018 as a legal assistant before being promoted to a paralegal in 2021, working under the supervision of Andrew Wonnacott & Mark Mears. I am currently undertaking my CILEX Level 3.

I am experienced in representing clients at Pre-Proceedings Meetings, Advocates Meetings and am heavily involved in the day-to-day running of Public Law Family Care Proceedings cases. I often support vulnerable clients at Court hearings as and when required.

Prior to joining GA, I completed a psychology degree at the University of South Wales and worked as a Court Clerk with HMCTS at Plymouth Combined Court. I work hard and am well-regarded for my friendly manner and willingness to go above and beyond for clients and colleagues.

I am also a certified Mental Health First Aider with MHFA England and a member of the Plymouth Junior Lawyers Division (PJLD).

In my spare time, I am an avid footballer who runs and plays for the GA 6-a-side team. I also thoroughly enjoy mountain biking.
