Lexcel Accreditation Secured for 12th Consecutive Year
South West law firm, GA Solicitors, is celebrating a significant achievement having been re-accredited by Lexcel, the Law Society’s national quality standard for client care, compliance and practice management.
The report highlighted the “positive attitudes by managers and staff members towards the necessity for change” and praised the firm for “maintaining an excellent degree of compliance”. Within the area of good practice it was felt that GA “had notably exceeded what the Lexcel standard requires’.
Other notable highlights included the fact that the firm “communicates both internally and externally in the most effective way” and that it operates on a “consensual management style that pervades throughout the firm”.
The assessor made special mention of the fact that GA takes the mental health of its staff extremely seriously and provided mental health awareness courses to make sure that everyone understood how to detect signs of ill-health at an early stage.
Commenting on the re-accreditation, GA Solicitors’ managing partner David Wallis, said: “The Lexcel accreditation is a standard of excellence. To secure the accreditation for a 12th consecutive year is testament to the team and the hard work they put into supporting our clients and maintaining GA’s high levels of compliance. Our commitment to our staff and our clients is second to none and we are delighted to see that our values were not only picked up in the Lexcel report, but that they were highly commended.”
