Four National Accolades for Regional Law Firm
Regional law firm, GA Solicitors, is celebrating a record few weeks after securing recognition from The Legal 500, Chambers UK and The Law Society through its prestigious Lexcel and Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditations.
Renowned legal directory, The Legal 500, launched earlier this month and ranked a record eight departments from the firm, as well as 23 individuals who were recommended or highlighted. This result follows months of extensive, independent research with feedback provided by clients, industry professionals and other law firms. The departments ranked were: company commercial, employment, family, real estate, commercial litigation, personal injury, wills, trusts and probate and energy.
Global legal researcher, Chambers & Partners, has today (17th October) recognised GA Solicitors in its UK edition, with the firm highly ranked for its expertise in the fields of family and matrimonial, personal injury and corporate mergers and acquisitions. In addition, the report identified ‘Leaders in Their Fields’ with James Peterson, Tony Cusack, Andrew Wonnacott, Gloria Dyer, Michelle Grove and Matthew Sheather all being highlighted.
These successes follow the firm’s re-accreditation by Lexcel, the Law Society’s quality mark for client care, compliance and practice management. The report highlighted an impressive 41 areas of good practice, where the firm exceeds the standards that the Lexcel accreditation requires. Particularly noted were the firm’s efforts to formalise its organisational culture, the excellent communication between managers and staff, and the firm’s “client-focused” and “no blame” culture.
Finally, GA Solicitors was also reaccredited with the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). This is known as the gold standard for measuring the competency of firms dealing with residential conveyancing transactions and certifies the firm’s expertise, transparent pricing and effective processes to reduce risk.
Commenting on the four successes, GA Solicitors’ managing partner David Wallis, said: “Each year we have seen significant improvements in both our legal rankings and our Lexcel and CQS feedback. This is testament to the hard work of our specialist teams, the high level of legal and client service provided, and also our continued investment into our processes, staff and technology.
“The legal sector remains incredibly competitive. This is in regards to securing clients, but also in recruiting and retaining staff. By providing strong legal advice alongside a people focused approach, we are very much beating the trend and increasing staff numbers and referrer and client relationships.
“The last few years have seen significant changes economically and politically and we have continued to weather every storm, building on our success year on year. I would like to thank all staff at GA for their hard work, dedication and loyalty – this success would not be possible without them.
