Lexcel Accreditation Secured for 13th Consecutive Year

South West law firm, GA Solicitors, is celebrating a significant achievement having been re-accredited yet again by Lexcel, the Law Society’s national quality standard for client care, compliance and practice management.
The report highlighted the firm’s “commitment to its communities, both internally and externally which has resulted in excellent client and staff relationships” and praised the firm for its “close attention to issues relating to compliance”. Further, it was “the Assessor’s strong recommendation” for re-accreditation with the Assessor identifying 17 areas of good practice where the firm had exceeded the Lexcel Standard.
Notable highlights included the fact that the firm “continues to take mental health issues seriously and mental health awareness is a core subject within general staff training” and “enmeshing of strategy, structure, systems, staff and their skills and style of management results in the whole organisation having shared values”.
Commenting on the re-accreditation, GA Solicitors’ managing partner David Wallis, said: “We are proud to yet again achieve Lexcel accreditation which is external recognition of the management of the firm, client service and compliance but also to secure praise in 17 areas of good practice within the report. To secure the accreditation for a 13th consecutive year is a testament to the team and the hard work they put into supporting our clients and maintaining GA’s high levels of compliance. Our commitment to our staff and our clients is second to none and we are delighted to see that our values were recognised in the Lexcel report by our re-accreditation, but that we were also highly commended in 17 other areas where we excelled.”
