GA promotes seven lawyers across the firm
South West law firm GA Solicitors has made a significant investment in its future with seven promotions for talented lawyers at the firm.
Wills, trusts and probate expert Matthew is highly regarded for his advice amongst clients, IFA’s, accountants and other law firms which sees him enjoy top rankings from independent guides Chambers UK and the Legal 500.
Helen joined GA in 2019 to set up its dedicated energy law team in Bath. She has grown the firm’s offering in the sector significantly ever since by establishing trusted relationships with developers, asset managers, investors, landowners and community groups to advise on site acquisitions, maximising asset values, property finance and project acquisition and disposal work.
Rob has over ten years experience in advising on complex employment law issues such as unfair dismissals, constructive dismissal, discrimination and TUPE regulations. He was recently singled out by the Legal 500 for his “strategic, business-orientated advice and representation in contentious matters” in addition to defending clients in a number of employment tribunal claims.
Meanwhile, family law expert Andrew Wonnacott and personal injury lawyer Kevin Digby have been promoted to partners. Andrew heads up GA’s childcare department and was appointed to the Law Society’s children panel membership in 2015. Kevin is a specialist in occupational disease work including claims for asthma, dermatitis, cancers, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hand arm vibration syndrome, deafness and long COVID caught in the workplace.
GA has also appointed two new solicitors after they successfully concluded their training contracts. Jack Ross and Cameron Dymond will enhance the firm’s commercial and childcare departments respectively.
Commenting on the promotions, GA’s managing partner David Wallis said: “We are delighted to reward all seven lawyers for their success in recent years which in turn has contributed to continuous growth here at GA. Our investment in talented lawyers ensures that our clients have access to highly skilled advice at all levels whenever they need it.“.
