Angela Timbrell
Family childcare lawyer
I qualified as a legal executive in 2002 and became a fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2004. In 2014 I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive advocate and then accredited as a member of the Law Society Children’s Panel in 2015.
I specialise in public law children act proceedings representing parents or children on applications by the local authority, and in adoption and children act matters. I have worked mainly in private practice, although I spent four years working for a local authority. My preference is to work in private practice acting for parents or guardians. I have worked at GA Solicitors since May 2018 and enjoy being part of the well-regarded care team.
In my spare time I enjoy patchwork and quilting and walking my dog, a Westie called Mack.
